Asking for help is hard. The cryer cries until there is support from both inside and outside.
Papier mâché cryer, light sensors and a waterpump. Installation.
Activly working with “the underneath”not covering up the insides of this sculpture was essencial. No hiding, no cover. naked. The waterpump makes the small hope on top work like a tear duct, allowing a small stream of water to trickle down and collect on the floor, until two hands are placed on the hand marks. One on the outside and one on the inside.
